Cascadia RVW Board Meeting

October 27, 2007

Attendees:  Dorene Thomas, Marne Parry, Judy Polenske, Kay Piehl, Alice Burk, Cheryl Edman, and several Cascadia members.

The meeting was called to order by President Dorene Thomas at 11:20 a.m. at Fidalgo Bay Resort in Anacortes, Washington

The President dispensed with the reading of the minutes and the treasurer’s report as they had just been previously read at the General meeting.

Reports:  Dorene announced the following committee appointments:

Bylaws: 

Co-Chairs:  Bonnie Blossom and Norma DallaSanta.

Members:  Nancy Gerou and Mary Schoenfeldt

Chapter Rules: 

Members:  Linda James, Cathy Atkins, Shay Gumm

Nominating Committee:  Barbara Nelson

Membership Committee

Members:  Norma DallaSanta, Lisa Austin, Shelly Donaldson

Web Master:  Laurie Alexander

Scribe: Jo Schilling

Historian:  Shay Gumm

Commander of Clothing:  Lori Youngs

The Board approved the Committee appointments.

Dorene provided each Board member with a copy of the By-laws and the Chapter Template.  By‑laws can be modified in even years.

The Board will meet on January 12, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Mitzels in Fife.  Members of the 2008 Cascadia Board are:

NEW BUSINESS:

Alice would like volunteers for Event Captains for the March 2008 event at North Whidbey RV Park.  It was noted that the event will fall on Easter weekend.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Dorene thanked those who volunteered to be on committees for 2008.
