Event Description
Point Hudson is located just beyond the end of Water Street at the northeast corner of Port Townsend's commercial district. Home to the Wooden Boat Foundation (Cupola House at the head of the marina basin) and the Foundation's annual Wooden Boat Festival, Point Hudson has 32 slips, 800' of linear docks, an RV park with 48 spots, and several marine trades businesses ready to serve you. This former Coast Guard station is within easy walking distance of the many fine dining, lodging and shopping opportunities that Port Townsend has to offer.

Registration

Special Request:
On the online tool there is a box labeled "Notes". We would like to request you tell us some interest you have, for example; do you like to bike, do puzzles, fish, quilt, play games, spend quiet time reading, just a few ideas. Our goal here is to help peope with like interest find each other. thanks for your input. We will have a place to post this information at each event.

Late Registration Process:
We regret having to turn anyone away, but we have reached full capacity for the meeting room and cannot accommodate any additional registrants. Please check your calendar for other events this season and register as early as possible to ensure yourself a site at the rally.

Special Note for Pre or Post eventers:

If you are planning to come early and/or leave a day or two later, you can make arrangments at the park or there are lots available for rent at Discovery Bay RV Resort in Sequim, a womend-only community located about 19 miles from Port Townsend. $35 a night includes hookups, or discount rates for longer stays. Tours are also available. Gated community necessitates prior arrangements. Contact Ruth Messing (Cascadia member) at 360-683-8246.

Check-in time is 1pm and check-out time is noon. There is no Club house, we have access to a meeting room which has limited kichen facilities, plan your trip accordingly.

Cost:
There are various options for site stays: Premium Point Sites $35 per night, Point Loop Sites $30 per night, and 2nd Row loop Sites $27 per night. All sites include water, sewer, electric (30amp only), Cable TV, and WiFi.

Deposit and Payment Instructions:
A non-refundable $7 reservation fee must arrive in the Treasurer's hands by Feb 4, 2012. Mail your check to Suzanne Larson at 620 S. 227th Street #103 Des Moines, WA 98198. Pay the balance upon arrival at the park.

Site Assignments:
Sites are assigned by the Cascadia. If you have special requirements, please indicate then in the Notes section of the registration online tool.

Early Arrival/Late Departure:
See notes above regarding additional options to stay at DBR. After the registration deadline, contact the park regarding extra days.

Cancellation Instructions:

Please cancel through the registrar. Participants cancelling within 1 day of the event or no-shows will be asked to reimburse Cascadia for any charges levied upon the club by the park.

We are here during the annual Victorian Days in Downtown Port Townsend.

Friday p.m.

 

  • 5:00pm - Meet and greet
  • 5:30pm - Catered appetizers sponsored by Cascadia
  • 6:30pm – Walk dogs
  • 7:00pm – Welcome message from our Cascadia President, Diane Milnor.  Intro of great things planned by Rally Captains, Steph Savel and Cate Comeford.
  • Meet at clubhouse for games, special interest groups

Saturday a.m.

  • 10:00am – RV hand signals-Cheryl Edman in clubhouse
  • 11:00-12pm – Private Guided tour of Maritime Center.  Meet at Maritime entrance North of RV park on beach.
  • 1pm-3pm- Public Trail/Beach walk. Easy to moderate. Meet in front of clubhouse.
  • Victorian Festival in town- all day. Museums, cinemas, fun places to eat, bike rentals, shopping.  Or just hang and relax!

Saturday p.m.

  • 5:00pm – Let’s socialize before dinner!
  • 5:30pm - Sandwich bar pot luck – Include salads, desserts.  Bring your own service and drinks.
  • 6:30pm-  Walk dogs.
  • 7:00pm – Dancing with Jan Stone

Sunday a.m.

  • 8:30am – Continental breakfast provided by the Chapter   - Bring your own coffee
  • 9:30am - Rig christenings for new rigs
  • 10am-Happy Trails!
