Learn to play the Ukulele!

Our Castle Rock event will feature a Ukulele Clinic on Saturday afternoon.  Below is a description of the clinic:

Beginning Ukulele - The Very Basics
Learn the fundamentals from the ground up in a patient and fun environment. This workshop assumes little or no experience with the instrument, and uses songs with 2 chords or 3 chords. With a couple of basic strums, a couple of chords, and most importantly, a couple of stupid ukulele tricks -- you're the life of the party! The ukulele is fun -- it is darn near impossible to not smile while playing. Taught by Marianne Brogan, founder of the Portland Ukulele Association and the Portland Uke Fest. Dedicated to world domination by ukulele players, Marianne has been spreading the joy of making music on this delightful instrument and teaching adults and children of all ages for six years. Loaner instruments available for the class.
