Event Description

There is a little something for everyone this weekend. History, trivia, music, geocaching, and of course, Mt. St. Helens! What would go better with a volcano and a bunch of strumming ukuleles than everyone dressed in Hawaiian shirts?? So, wear your best, your brightest, your funniest loud shirt, and come prepared to have lots of fun!

 

Registration

The registration deadline for this event has passed.  If you'd like to join us at this event, please contact the park directly to see if they have space for you.  If you are able to get a reservation, contact the Cascadia Registrar so that we know to expect you.

Two nights $51.29 (includes taxes)

Friday

• 5:30 - Social Hour
• 6:00 - Finger Foods
• 7:30 - Mt. St. Helens Trivia Game

 

Saturday Morning

• 8:30 - Coffee in the club house
• 9:00 - Board Meeting

• 9:30 Special Guest Speaker: Bud Bouchard

Bud has offered to share his knowledge of the local area and of the Lewis & Clark Trail. He is especially well versed in Lewis and Clark's navigation of the Columbia River Gorge and the Native American Culture in the area.

Saturday Afternoon

• 11:00 - Geocaching 101
• 1:30-3:30 Ukulele Clinic


People wanting to attend and needing an instrument should RSVP Barb.

 

Saturday Evening

• 5:30 - Social Hour
• 6:00 - Pot Luck Dinner - BBQ
(bring your own something to BBQ if you like)

• 7:30 - Ukulele class concert and sing along

 

Sunday Morning

• 8:30 - Coffee Hour
• 9:30 - Rig Christening
• 10:00 - Good-byes

 

Volunteers Needed

• We have our "Hi There Girls" for this event, but please consider volunteering next time.  "Hi There Girls" greet people upon arrival, give hugs, and welcome newcomers.

• We have our "Bandana Divas" for this event, but please consider volunteering next time.  "Bandana Divas" help with table set-ups, tidying up and being available to help as needed.
